Swimming in Circles 2013

What a great time we all had spending time with Susan and Christine of Swirly Girls Design.  We departed from Baltimore and spent the first 2 days of our cruise quilting, English Paper Piecing and some needlepoint projects.  The project was a new design by the Swirly Girls titled, Swimming in Circles.  It was so much fun watching the project start to take shape (pun intended).

Before, during and after our quilting classes, we all enjoyed time dancing, playing Bingo, karaoke, gambling in the casino, watching fabulous production shows, exploring the ship, spending time in the sun, relaxing by the pool, reading, and so on.  Even our non-quilter guests enjoyed their time and stopped in occasionally to check on us.

Our sponsor, Kelly of Kelly Ann's Quilting, was AMAZING!  She surprised us all several times each day with fun little giveaways and gifts.  She also gave away a myriad of prizes at the end of the week and we all enjoyed our chance to win something.

We had such a good time that we decided right then and there to do it all again - April 12 - 19, 2014 - 7 night Caribbean cruise from New Orleans.

Enjoy some of the pictures from our fun trip.

Time to reflect

We began our little Quilt Cruise company in 2010 and are so thrilled to now be in our 3rd year.  It has been such a wonderful time making new friends, traveling to amazing destinations, and improving our quilting techniques.  What started with a small group headed to the Caribbean has now grown to include our Quilt Retreat at Sea alumni, larger groups, and even now extending into some land retreats.  Sadly, we've even had to say goodbye to some, but they will always hold a special place in our hearts.  We can only hope that this ride will continue to be fun, friendly and memorable for all.

Enjoy these pictures of some of the highlights of our past cruises.  Now, on to the future!
